Kevin is the founder of Qualitas. Kevin has extensive experience of process improvement and design projects. Before setting up Qualitas Kevin led process improvement activity in Barclays Commercial delivering seven figure benefit. As principal of Qualitas he has succesfully shaped and delivered activity in financial services and public sector organisations such as Santander and the Pensions Regulator. Kevin has experience of working in volume driven servicing and call centre operations and specialist knowledge driven servicing areas. He has delivered improvements to mature business processes and process designs and requirements for new ventures.
Kevin takes a pragmatic approach to business problems letting the problem, cutomer needs and the business culture and goals drive activity and using the tools of Six Sigma and Lean when appropriate to improve the qualirty and efficiencyof the final design.
Kevin is trained to black belt level in Six Sigma, a methodology that has it roots in Motorola where it was used to drive out defects in production. He has also undertaken deep skills training in Lean training a methodology on which Toyota's success was built, driving waste out of process. In addition Kevin is experienced in shaping requirements documents and Use Cases. His solutioning skills are backed up by project management and is qualified as a Prince 2 practitioner.
Kevin is also no stranger to front office functions and spent the first part of his career with Barclays in operationl and sales roles.This experience adds a sense of practicality and user centrality to his approach.
